Job Description

 

  • Analyze, (further) develop, and implement account/sales plan and targets, as well as budgets
  • Making a sales and marketing plan
  • Initiate, maintain, and grow sustainable relations with (potential) (key) accounts and coordinate external processes in line with company guidelines.
  • Frequently visit team and farmers
  • Liaise with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in the feed business
  • Build, maintain and expand a network of (new) in - and external partners and detect business opportunities, in line with company guidelines
  • Stakeholder management: liaise with hatcheries, veterinarian services, Authorities and Associations
  • Organize seminars and other related events
  • Visit accounts and explore account demands and wishes, translate the demands into Koudijs solutions and products
  • Acquire new potential accounts and analyze client needs and commercial opportunities in line with the account/sales plan
  • Responsible for effective time management for the sales team
  • Responsible for initiating (sales) promotions together with marketing
  • Management of dealer- and distributor network, support them and make sure they are making the right sales
  • Build and maintain knowledge regarding development and changes within the domain, accounts and the market
  • Effective communication with the sales team regarding market development and sales (techniques). Coaching of the sales team for more effective sales and how they can improve sales performance
  • Provide insights regarding quantitative and qualitative developments by means of weekly, monthly, and periodical sales reports and analysis
  • Make weekly activity plans for Sales Advisors as part of the sales strategy and plan
  • Contribute to the development or improvement of the sales and company
  • Proactively develop and present suggestions and/or solutions to management

      Educational Requirements and Experiences

  • Degree in Sales and marketing or its equivalent
  • At least 5 years of work experience in the role, preferably from a similar industry
  • At least 3 or more years working experience in a managerial role
  • Work experience in an international organization will be an added advantage
